Het verhaal van Cascina Spinerola: van landgoed tot charme hotel in Piemonte
Cascina Spinerola is genoemd naar een prachtige heuvel die uitziet over het
stadje Moncalvo en een stukje van de Monferrato-streek. In het begin van de
18e eeuw werd op deze plek een groots herenhuis gebouwd. Latere
eigenaren voegden op de binnenplaats stallen en bogengalerijen voor
agrarische doeleinden toe en zo ontstond de naam
"Cascina Spinerola".
De familie die het complex nu in eigendom heeft voerde een ingrijpende en
zorgvuldige renovatie uit, met aandacht voor alle details, en toverde de o ude
Cascina om tot wat het nu is: een van de mooiste gelegenheden van
Monferrato, een vooraanstaand charme hotel in Piemonte. Diezelfde familie
zwaait nu met warmte en passie de skepter over het hotel en het
gelijknamige agrarische bedrijf.
